    54 corvette

I am presently restoring a 54 Corvette. I am having trouble finding the correct gaskets for the rear end. The gaskets I have ordered are slightly oval.
The 10 bolt pattern on mine is round. It is marked M W 614. There is also number 3698950 on it. I would also like to know if anyone can tell me where to get the bolts for the saddle on the leaf spring. They are fine thread with no nuts. They thread into the saddle.

    Thank you, B.J. Cantele

You'll probably have to make a gasket. If I remember correctly the bolt that holds the spring together does NOT thread into what you're calling the saddle. The end goes in the hole to postion the spring.

The gasket is the same as 47 to 54 Chevy, go to this for most any thing you need
