I am about to remarry the body back to the frame of my 1973 350 automatic coupe. The assembly manual does not clearly indicate where in the transmission
tunnel the "Foam Insulator Collar" glues to. I have a new tunnel insulator in place but need your help on where the collar locates.
The foam shield was located between the transmission tunnel and APPROXIMATELY the middle of the bellhousing with respect to it's front-to-rear dimension. I don't think that placement of this shield was a "precision operation".
