I have located a correct dated housing for my 62 through Chicago Corvette Supply. They have offer a service to restamp with the CE ('62 4.ll code) that I desire. A. are they reputable? B. Is this restamp advisable? Thanks in advance, Charlie Lambusta
have them stamp a sample piece of metal then compare the shape/size of their alpha-numerics with any 55 thru 64 chevy or vette differential case stamping. also, if the stamping charge exceeds ten bucks, i'd do it myself. good luck, mike
