I need some help!
My fuse blew on the fuse block, which is for my heater.
I turned on my heater switch, but the blower didn't work on low, med, but on high the fan worked and then after 5 seconds the fuse blew.
Anybody have any suggestions of what's wrong.
Ken your fan motor working on HI and not on the lower speeds because the fuse was blown indicates to me that you have an air conditioned C3. The lower speed fuse is of course in the fuse block, but the high speed fuse is separate and is located in a fuse holder. On my 70 it is located between the brake master cylinder and the fender. The power end connects to the horn relay and the wire is a red heavy guage wire. The end that twists out of the fuse holder retaining the fuse is an orange wire.
Hi Jim,
I don't have an a/c car, and the fan wouldn't work on low or med. speed but on high it worked for 5 seconds and then the fuse blew that is in the block.
