I would like to find out if the shocks on my 1971 are Delco replacement shocks. The numbers are: 22002646 253 90 - 22002649 264 90. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks, John

Unfortunately they are replacements. They were probably installed on your car in 1990. Dates are 253rd and 264th day of 1990

Yes, they are. In fact, "Delco" should be stamped on them. It's usually somewhere in the vicinity of where you found the numbers.
