Tire information - anyone identify this one?

I have some tires on a car I bought and would like to figure out who makes them. I need to replace one and would like to get a matching one, rather than replace all four.

    SLX 5000
    Radial G/T
    DOT ACUU 2UA 247
    DK-568641-1 P7402 3D134

    It is a 225/70-15.

    Thanks.

        Thanks, Dave.

They sound like really excellent tires.

Now to figure out who sells them.

Atlas was once a private label brand that was distributed primarily through Esso service stations when Esso still had their TBA program. This acronym stood for tires, batteries and accessories. Didn't they meet their demise somewhere in the mid 80's?

Atlas was also the house brand for Standard Oil of California (now Chevron), but I don't think it's been used on tires for some time.

The "247" says the tires were made in the 24th week of the 7th year of the decade, which could be 1977, 1987, or even 1997. The only way to tell the decade is to determine the era the tire was in production.

Beginning in 2000 the date code changed to four digits - two to specify the year, so this week's production would be labled 0806.

Since those tires could be 30 years old, I doubt if you can find a match, even used, and you should consider replacing all of them, especially if the sidewalls are showing surface cracks. An old tire that's had an easy indoor life and does not show surface deterioration is probably okay to use, especially if it carries and "H" or above speed rating, but life outdoors (UV light) deteriortes tires much more rapidly, so if you don't have a good handle on what kind of life these tires have experienced, I would replace them all.
