Can anyone help me find the correct material for these door caulk strips? It seems the only material available is colored black and the JG calls for white. This is the sticky strips of caulk that go between the inner door and the vapor barrier. Admittedly a small thing but I want to be correct. Thanks for any help.
Hi Terry. I'm no expert on 67's, but you can buy 3M Rope Caulk in either black or white. Comes in a box of individual ropes, each about 12 inches long. It Works great...easy to use....I buy it at my local auto parts store. The white is an off white/gray color....the black is "charcoal" Chuck

You might even consider using white latex house or tile calking in the tube.... just cut the end of the spout off so as to get about the right diameter when you squeeze the applicator.
