    trailing arms

Would the trailing arms for a 1968 and 1980 be identical for judging?

    Re: trailing arms

You would have to compare them side by side.

I found while changing a set that 1975 and 1979 were different. The brake cable bracket had moved slightly. Now this could have just been production tolerance, too, but I think it moved to give extra room for the aluminum wheels on the '76 up. Not sure when it moved.

    I doubt most would notice.

You'd have to check the following spots:

    1. top of rear where sway bar mounts for mounting holes
    2. brake cable bracket

Thanks. There is so much that is unique to the 68. I have a chance to buy a very nice set of cores so I better get out the tape measure and my camera to compare.
