67 Ralley Wheel Finish

I am in the process of bead blasting my 67 ralley wheels. What is the best paint to use to match the original silver, and what type of black paint should I use on the back. I tested a section with 67 Ralley Wheel Paint from LIC, but it seemed a little off. I was also told that Dupli-Color T229 Silver was a good choice, but I have not tried it yet. I welcome your thoughts.

Eastwood has "Argent Silver" http://www.eastwoodco.com
and Paint Scratch will mix anything for you, paintscratch.com

George,

I used Corvette America's rallye wheel paint #1593 on my '67. Underneath their label was another: Pro Products Ralley Wheel Paint 920 743 1575. I really can't say how correct it was, but it seemed to have a slight green tint to it and went on easily.

I used a one step argent silver epoxy paint with aboout 15% flatener. I would use a little more flatener next time.
