    '58 clock removal

Been trying to torque my body and hand a bit to try and remove the clock from the heater/clock panel and get it repaired. Any secret to this that would make it successful? My heater/air/fan knobs have all just been re-installed. Thanks in advance.

I believe you just push the clock in and turn counter clock wise until it releases. The trick is to only push on the outer metal frame not the lens. Don H.

Agree w/Don - This is pretty close to a no brainer

There is a spring retainer behind the clock. I wish many of the other items we remove were as easy as this. You can do it...!!!

        Don and Dennis:
Any more of a no-brainer and my 6-year old could have done it. I was trying to remove from the rear, not the front-thanks both of you for your help. Much appreciated.
