Wanted to ask...
Is the leaf spring on a 1969 350/3350 coupe the same one used on a 427/400 convertible..? Also is there anyone who can be recommended who can restore leaf springs to factory condition ? Thanks
They were originally the same leaf spring. I can't say what might have happened over the years. Both were originally a 9 leaf, dual rate spring. They had 3 "flat" top leaves and 6 curved lower leaves. There were black, polypropylene liners between the leaves with edge ridges that helped maintain alignment of the leaves.
