In case you don't know what they are (they are posted above the Post New Message form) here they are - I capitalized and numbered them for clarity:
1. PLEASE INCLUDE IN THE SUBJECT LINE WHAT MODEL YEAR CORVETTE YOUR POST REFERS TO.
2. FOR MORE GENERAL QUESTIONS, YOU MAY USE THE SERIES DESIGNATION OF C1=1953-62, C2=1963-67, C3=1968-82, C4=1984-96, C5=1997+.
3. THIS WOULD NOT APPLY TO GENERAL POSTS.
If you have a question about a specific year put the year in the subject line. What's so confusing about that? Hey guys guess what there are major differences within each of the generations. Just because you have a '66 not all C2 owners what to filter through every C2 post just to find out the subject doesn't apply to their car or interests, and the posting only applies to a specific year's part or item. Or, say a posting subject on a C3's bumper...now is that a '68 or 79? Only one is metal.
How about a little courtesy for other member's time. It may even help you when you are searching for some specific information on your car.
