    Jeff Cook

This board will be policed by its participants and not by Jeff Cook. I am disgusted by his post, and I have sent a message to the administrative staff ('proper forum') saying so.

There is a big discussion in this country about whether Google should have bowed to the Chinese. I'm an American, and I don't bow.

If NCRS doesn't want dissent, they can refund my recently submitted dues check, and I have told them so. Read this quickly; if you never hear from me again, you know why. NCRS has declared me a terrorist.

Save the wave: It's been fun. Marc

        I can still post

and posts from other non-appreciative members are still here, so I guess the warning shot across my bow last night was not a fatal one.

With any luck it was a self inflicted wound.

            Cook's good intensions

As many of you will recall, I personally recently challenged a poster who was either a non NCRS member or a member who was using an alias, that was out right lying about how things work within NCRS and its finances. Honest dissent is good for an organization and helps keep it healthy. However, falsifying and making malicious statements serves no good for either the Board's posters or the organization.

I do apologize to my fellow Tech Board posters for my recent quest, as it was an attempt on my part to keep the Tech Board on track to represent the truth.

Cook's post was a well intended request that we fellow NCRS Technical Discussion Board poster's let our elected representatives put a plan together.

Driveline delivery has been a topic of discussion by the Board of Director's at their meetings for the last year. A report on the alternatives (cost/business plan/impact/etc.) is on the agenda for the March 2006 Board of Director's meetings. Let's give our NCRS Board an opportunity to come up with a short term fix and a long term solution that NCRS can afford to do and meets the needs of NCRS members for this problem.

            Respectfully submitted,

Gary, Maybe the Board of Directors would be able to afford a better, more timely method of Driveline delivery if they gave away less of our dues money to charities. Charity begins at home.

                  Gary,
I'm sure you mean well. Let it go..... There is no reason to post to this link at this late time. The "Driveline" was not the issue after Cook's post. It was the presentation ...the message was lost.
                  Regards,
                  Ed

As I remember, and as can be seen in the archives, it was you who suddenly made malicious statements without provocation that he was using a fake name. Odd you would do that since he has been giving technical contributions here for a couple of years.

It was also after your bout that Jeff Cook showed up and the posts began disappearing.
