What is the proper procedure to adjust the cables on my 61 and what should the tension be. The left/drivers side seems tight and the opposite is true for the right/passenger side loose. I have never adjusted the cables on my 59 and those cables seem to be of somewhat even tension.

Hi
When I installed my wiper transmissions on my 62, the way I was told to set the tension is with the wiper arms off, you push down on the wiper transmission posts all the way down and release it. That makes the transmission tighten up on the cable. It worked for me.
