Does anyone know of a good media blaster in Southern California, I have several cars I need to strip. If medial blasting would work then my prep time will be reduced. I generaly use chemical, however it takes a long time, and I am very carful about residue chemicals in the fiberglass. I use ting and water, water, water as well as lots of time airing out. I even like to let my primer age indoors, depending on the system. Many times you can trace paint bubbles months or years down the road to a paint job put over a stripped body where residue finally worked it's way up from below. Sometimes people clean the stripper with other chemicals that enbed themselves in the fiberglass and show up later. Heat and motion can release chemicals that eventually pop through the paint.

Re: C3 paint questions
Thanks to all who took the time to give me their input on this , I see that there are many different opinions so a little more home work is needed on this.
This is my first vette(owned 3 years)and I have completed the restoration of the interior and many mechanical parts myself. and just want to get what I pay for on this paint job. Thanks again to all..Steve- Top
