    C2 Cluster

What is a good match for the green paint used on the back side of a C2 cluster housing?

    Mark,
Check the archives, I posted some Krylon numbers that I used when I did mine. It was not a 100% perfect match, but pretty close. If you can't find it in the archives, I will see if I can find the rattle cans and post again, BTW there are two differenct colors of green needed.

I don't think this is a paint, I have a Jan 1, 67 and it looks like the metal is aged and have develeloped a patena finished.

Maybe something changed over the years - so many things did. At the other end of the C2 time line, my '63 is definitely light green paint complete with minor overspray.

I found a Laura Ashley Heather Green that matched very, very close. I haven't seen that designer brand at Lowes lately though.

I checked and found your posts, but didn't see any numbers. Just that you had found some green that worked.

              Mark,
Hi, here is what I found in the gargae, now I am not sure which I used. For the light green look at; Krylon Satin Jade number 3509, or take a look at Rustoleum Satin number 7720, guess I should have taken notes, it has been a couple of years. For the dark green I used Painters Touch by rustoleum number 1938 Hunter Green. Good luck with your project.
