I am looking to purchase a 63 split window, which needs a new front end. It has the origional drivetrain, I would install a corvette image complete jig assembled unit. Once installed correctly, how detectable is it and would it loose judging points? If all my work does not pass judging, I probally will not buy the car. Please give me your coments.

My experience is that there will be little if any deduct for the body. The construction is done like the factory did it. It can even be tailored to your serial number range to include factory variation during the production run. A very knowledgeable judge however, may be able to tell that it isnt original.
