Re: RC-15 Information and the Restorer Article
Tom - That cap is in the Restorer article is not "wrong." The RC-15 was used for sometime, specifically on pre-66 GTOs, Chevelles, Chevrolets and other cars w/ C60 before it was first used on '66 Corvettes. We (that's the royal we) though it was important to put things in perspective and had no intent on confusing readers but wanted to present the facts as we knew them and the chronology of the RC-15 as we saw it.
While I don't dispute the possiblity of dual or multiple sources, I have not seen what I believe to be a credible "original" example of a RC-15 from the 66-68 era that has the arrows without the triangular ends. But I and I'm sure many other are always eager to learn new information and see new examples to expand our knowledge and further information for the hobby. Pete
