Re: removing paint
I use a stripper I get from corvette america I think it is capt.Morgan mabey thats Rum but look in there Cat and you will find it it is safe for fiberglass. I brush it on and wait until it looks like it has stopped working (don't leave it dry)and use a plastic putty knife and it comes right off. Sometimes it will take 2 applications. Then I wipe with rag soaked with laquer thinner takes residue off. When you get down to the red primer it will take about 50 % off the rest sand D/A 120 comes right off. I do any body work give it 2 coats evercoat polyester primer block sand betwwen coats this like a fiberglass primer. Then go to 2 K primer surfacer (House Of Kolor KP) is real good PPG&Dupont also good. Hope this helps.- Top

Re: Probably Capt'n Lee's...
Capt'n Lees is what I used on 3 Corvettes with no problems. No bubbles or other problems after the paint was applied. I recommend it. Just clean the body off really good when your done stripping.- Top
