on my pass side rear brake makes a loud poping sound when I mash the pedal. also that tire has wear from the inside out. question do I have a run out problem are is a caliper sticking? to caues the tire wear. the car has had a alingment last year an the toe was in spec. I thought that it could have been from the toe, but now with that breaking making the noise I think that is causing the tire wear.any thoughts.

Re: brakes rear 71
Tire wear could caused by either toe in/out or camber. The popping sound could be coming from the control arm shifting from the loss of the toe shims. Check the control arm mounting bolt area and see if the shims are still intact. Also check for a loose caliper.
Toe misalignment, unless grossly out of spec, is hard to visualize. Camber, most of the time you can see if it is out very much. The tire should appear to stand straight up and down or slightly in at the bottom.Dick Whittington- Top
