    Weather strip adhesive

The 66 Judging manual (page 16) states that for 66 convertibles and coupes, black waterproofing compound (not silicone)was used on the body/windshield post area to seal the weatherstripping. I'm assuming that this sentence actually belongs on page 15 under the paragraph describing the windshield post weatherstripping?

Has anyone actually seen the black compound used here as opposed to the usual brown/yellow weatherstrip cement? I missed using the black waterproofing and used the standard 3M brown/yellow adhesive under the windshield post weatherstrip where it sits against the body, and before I change this I'd like a second opinion.

    Regards,
