    My 67 bb alternator is 1100693 39A with a date code of 6G Theres no number after 6G except a 6-12V marking this is an early modle 100107 Is this correct. Terry

      Terry, I am going to make a stab at it and say your date code is actually 6G6 which would be a July 6 of 1966. I am not sure what the model 100107 is that you are referring to

        sorry about that. The 100107 is my vin number not the model no. I have an early 67 vette. the alt is missing the last number. Also ther is no numbers on the diodes that I can see. Is it normal for the alt. to be missing the third didget. Terry

          As Dick noted, your date code is 6G6 - there's no "6" in front of "12V". Also, a 693 alternator should say "37A", not "39A".
