Can an original Clutch pedal be repaired?

I've been restoring my 68 BB Coupe and am at the point of restoring the pedals and brackets, etc. I dissassembled the pedal assembly last night and realized the small peg that the clutch rod rides on is pretty grooved from use. This peg or stud is welded into the pedal arm. Can I find a NOS Clutch Pedal arm or a good used one? Or can this stud/peg be repaired or replaced?

Anyone have experience with replacements from sorces like Paragon?

    Thanks,

    Steve

I cut the weld, removed the pin and made a new pin on a lathe out of a hardened bolt. Figured it wore too easily in the first place. Hopefully the hardened bolt was not too hard and wears something else.

measure the pin's od and length then stop by the local hardwarte store. they'll probably have the pin. then remove the worn original and spot weld the replacement in place. good luck, mike

          Thanks Mike,

There is a salvage hardware store close by, I may go by and see if they have anything close?

Thanks! Do you have the contact info for the one you got it from?
Were you able to just get the stud?

Just ued the local Tractor supply store, took the one I pressed out in and had to get one a little longer, pressed it in and welded, adjusted to length, and worked just like new.
