    restorer TCS article

Great article on the 70 TCS system. Subject dear to my heart. The article was very informative and discriptive. The photos,(photo), are another thing.

Kind of funny that after a great explanation of the system function, the photo of the base/ L-46 photo is connected wrong. There's a single hose out the rear of the solenoid, no hose at all to the right angled nipple of the solenoid. The exiting hose then tee's with one hose to the distributor, and the other to the carb. Figure at best that system isn't working and the distributor's getting some sort of split vacuum.

Still thought the article was great. Guess a slip up happens now and then.

Can't see your pic Doc, but I remember your illustation is correct.(just checked). Did you ever get a sample to make that, "non existing" advance tube for the 70 L-46?

I also noticed that it wasn't correctly connected.

But as an FYI, most judges never figure it out either unless they own the exact same model car. I've seen several get a "pass" because the judges didn't know the correct setup, and unfortunately the JG's don't have Doc's diagrams in them.

I demand to be appointed the Master

of Documents so that we can rectify this shortcoming. I want a staff car, two secretaries and a 401K - or I refuse to accept. This would never happen if this clubs was on Uranus.

                  Doc,

                  You're a Master, alright.

I best leave that one alone.

But i suspect a certain catalog page or two might make it into my personal copy of the JG.
