    Carb to Air Filter Housing GASKET

    I am looking for a supplier of a high quality carb-to-air-filter-housing gasket. NAPA carries the cheaper, thin paper gaskets. I would like a more substantial gasket like the originals. If there are no current suppliers of the higher quality gaskets, does anyone know the material of construction?

      You might try Doc Rebuild - his gaskets are excellent ("Dr. Gasket"?)

          The original gaskets were a thick, fiber-type material. Some were gray; some were brown. I second John's remark regarding the good Doctor's products. If there is an original-like part out there for these gaskets, if he doen't have it, I doubt anyone does.

              John, Need to get a high quality carb to air-horn gasket. The parts store junk migrates out after a short while. Need more info regarding Dr.Gasket. Did a search w/o any luck. Thanks. Dave
