Headlight bezels - one more time

HELP! I post a message on this subject a couple of weeks ago and got no response so figured I would give it one more try. Today I sent back my 5th set of headlight bezels for my 60 and after 10 bezels from 5 different vendors I have not recieved 1 which was worth keeping , am I the only one having this problem or is this a long standing problem with the GM reproductions? The chrome was pitted on every one and on several the casting was not properly ground and polished as you could see grind marks and casting defects on the finished parts. I need advice , should I wait a month or two and see if all the bad parts work out of the pipeline or find a pair of acceptable originals to rechrome? I guess if worst comes to worst I could send out one of the new reproductions and have the rechromed by some one who knows what they are doing but that would sure chap my hide to have to send off brand new parts to have them re-done! Any comments or suggestions would sure be appreaciated.

I think you'll find that All 60 bez'ls are made by the same aftermarket manufacturer. Maybe thats why they all look the same! Get a set ,then have them re-chromed.You might put an ad in the Driveline for them; "wanted".
