Does the CD player have a hook up or an auxilary input, (RCA plug or something) to attach an accessory like a xm radio. The CD Player has no cassette player, and no CD changer.

Re: C5 CD Player
Maybe I was not clear, I want to hook up my XM Satellite radio receiver, a Roady 2. I am wondering if the stock in dash AM/FM/CD player has a simple input, so I could go from the output in the Roady, which is a simple headphone type output, directly to the back of the radio? If there is a RCA input on the Stock radio, I could just get an adapter from headphone to sereo RCA plugs.
I have found directions to get it to work by wiring the XM unit through a stock GM CD changer wiring harness. But I am wondering if there is an easier, cheaper way? If I am going to spend $70 on the harness plus $65 on the PIE auxiliary input, an RCA cable, and a few others, I might as well just replace the indash CD player with one that is XM compatible, and it will all be built in with no additional wiring and no need to have the head unit of the Roady 2 needing to be mounted somewhere.- Top
