    Movie Star Look-Alikes

    Lou,

I thought he looked a little more like Paul Newman rather than his understudy Cruise. Newman with dark hair?

We'll see what Joe looks like this year...

Sorry guys. This ain't working well...

    Gentlemen,

My browser is having a bad day, posting notes as "new" rather than as replies. Please excuse my misplaced messages, and I will try to see what is wrong. I haven't changed anything on my machine, so I'm not sure what the hang-up is.

    I appreciate your understanding.

And yes, Joe Lucia looks like Newman with dark hair, and I like going to Carlisle, but generally without my prescription pad (see misplaced messages). :-)

          32.

          November 3, 1967.

At least my car is younger than me (body build June 15, 1971).

My first few years in this I judged '67 cars (and still do on occasion). It was strange judging cars built before I was born. How do you tell someone what the car was supposed to be like new, when you never saw a new one? Anyway...

Young, but after years of college, med school and residency, you age fast. Some deliveries (of babies) and nights on call have taken their toll too. But you old guys are still fun to hang out with. As I told Joe Lucia many months ago, I'm just waiting for you guys to get old and sell off your fuelies to the few of us young guys who want them. After all, my contemporaries drive Hondas, right?

          Thanks all,

We'll all recognize Patrick, he will be the only 32 year old in scrubs, (without sweat stains ) and silver haired temples. Disgusting, look for the suns reflection off my temples, (my hairline has receded to my collar on all sides. :)

                  1946 Vette

In order to be drivin a Corvette three years older than me it would have to be one of those rare 46 Vettes, they were metal then weren't they ?

                      I think back then, Corvettes were small WWII ships. But I wouldn't know since I am a 1962 vintage with a 1961 Corvette. The build date and my conception date are probably pretty close, at least within guidelines. But that is probably more than you cared to know:}

                        Hey Doug,

For some time I have been looking for a Corvette with build date to match the birth date of my daughter.

We are all more or less warped here. No big deal. Now if you started to tell us you were conceived in a Corvette - well that might be a little close to being over the top, but on second thought......NAA

                        How original IS original?

                          Re: 1946 Vette

I actually meant to say that I am 3 years younger than my '64, and although my daughter probably wasn't conceived in a Corvette (I am 6'6" tall and no contortionist), We did go to both the Corvette Museum and the Assembly plant on our Honeymoon, and I was driving my Silver Anniversary car at the time. We both got to do the First Start on a '96 Grand Sport 6-speed red interior. I actually wrote down the VIN number on that car so I could check it against any Grand Sports I see for sale in the future- who knows maybe It will be parked next to my '64 some day. I guess I like Corvettes a little. Shane

                            Terry,

I've thought of the same thing, but it would be a 68 model. So far, I haven't had the heart to look for an early 68.

Maybe I'll try for a 69 model to match my wife's birthday.
