What do we do with his car.....

or his diapers? Here's hoping the diapers aren't soile and are re-useable. We could peddle them to a nursing home. Now the vette, is another problem, what do we do with it? You want it, and I want it, so the fair way would be to split it, but which way, length or width?

        George,

My birthday is November 3, 1967. This was a Friday, so Corvettes were made on that day. But a Friday early 68? It better be cheap :)

Can't get one for my wedding day, either. June 30 was a Saturday in 1990. But, as Corvette trivia buffs know, the first 1953 Corvettes were produced on - June 30, 1953. Just don't tell my wife the significance.

            Re: Patrick...

Patrick, I sure would like to pick up a midyear that was built on my birthday, which is April 14th, but that was also the day that the Titanic struck an iceberg and Abraham Lincoln was assasinated. Do you think this would be a good idea? Patrick

              Patrick Hulst,

You are looking at 1968 s/n 3700 to about 3800 and it will be a convertible.

                  Terry,

The number is straight forward (form the NCRS guide), but how do ya know its a convertible?

                    Re: Secret

Come on now I have to have some secrets. The answer did not come from the Birthday book - the 1968-1972 part of that book came from my research.

                      Re: What a weird thread......

Here I am just reading along and then my name and Vette comes up again, with who else....George! We need a wider web page since we're all scrunched up to the side.

Yes the build date of my 68 is in December 67, but the only way I would let go of it would be for the EXACT 66 or 67 I would want for it. But even then, I would rather put that along side the 68 in the garage (which are my plans), not in place of it.

Also, I hope this "browser-hex" thing you and Patrick H. have caught isn't going around. It's probably like one of you mentioned, it's being passed with the "parts". Just have to break out the rubber gloves, I guess, and wash my hands, too. TBarr #24014

                        Patrick,

How true. One of those "Dates that will live in Infamy" (pardon my liberty with the quote).

Maybe day you got married? Wife's birthday? Graduation day?

                        Good luck,

You expected George to be - what?

                          Tom,

With George in on it what did you expect, a serious dissertation on heat transfer and radiator flow rates (which I still rank as a real sleeper)?

More likely to see the Phoenix rise (i.e. Superbird).

                            Re: Kudos Terry..

On the research material, I know someone had to do it, thanks from '69 owner. But the convertible thing, the more I think about maybe I've been... (something about a hook, line, and sinker)...

                              I leave the thought provokingdiscussions......

to da deep thinkers. Not that I don't qualify as a deep thinker, but lately my only thought is does it work and for how long? And anyway, I have been in deep thought to come up with the drivel that y'all been readin' lately.

                              Don't we have fun?
