    C1: Judging question (hardtop)

I am thinking of getting my car judged this year. It has both tops, but the hardtop needs some work. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't judge very well. The rest of the car should do fine. Should I just have the car judged without the hardtop, or would there be some advantage to having it included?

You do better with the soft top, that's why you see so many be judged with it.

My car is a hardtop only. I have not had it on my car in 15 years. Can I leave it home? Oh yeah, probably lose a few points.

Thanks. I think I'll leave it home.

If the car is drilled for a hardtop and it is not on the car, is there not a deduction for the four holes in the deck lid?

              For The Most Part...

...only one top is judged per car...

                Tim -

For a car configured for two tops, it's the owner's choice how the car is presented for judging; either with the soft top up, or with the hardtop. If a 2-top car is presented with the hardtop, judges will check for presence of the folded soft top.

                For P.V., it's more complicated (and time-consuming)
