Re: Carbon steel exhaust supplier
Realize that while you are getting carbon steel pipes, they are NOT shaped and bent "exactly" like the ones originally installed on your car. So, you will gain a couple of points by not having aluminized pipes but may still lose for the shape of the pipes themselves.
Just trying to inform...
FYI, I'd use something like PreLube 6 on them to keep them from rusting.

Re: Carbon steel exhaust supplier
There is a vendor that is working on a limited number of pipes. He claims to have the pipes done, but his mufflers will not have the "W" as original. I do not know what time frame he is working with.Dick Whittington- Top

Re: Carbon steel exhaust supplier
Rob,
I count the down pipe from the exhaust as one, then from factory, the second is the pipe with muffler attached. 3 pieces would be the separate muffler.
Dick, my original factory muffler has only the A for Arvin are we sure that all mufflers from the factory had GM and parts numbers on them? or W?
