68 ignition shielding suports??

Anyone know if the supports for the dist shield box are the same between big block and small block? Thanks, Terry

They may be a little longer; I can't say, for sure, at the moment. However, the primary difference is the general configuration since the retaining points (manifold bolts) are different on a big block versus small block.

I compared another set that I had that are supposed for a big block. At least I recall that they were specific at the time that I acquired them. Hard to get them down in there next to mine but they may just be about 1/4 inch taller. I might swap them out tomorrow and let you know. Thanks for the information. Terry

Joe, I pulled the ignition shield supports off my corvette today and compared them to another set that where known big block. It turns out the one's on my car were too short by about 1/2 inch. They look identical but the big block version are deffinitely taller. Problem solved. Thanks for your help, Terry
