Auction description says 1959 Vette, but it's a red wheel. Shouldn't it be black?

i don't appreciate or rather see the four teats at 90 degree angles to retain the full hubcaps nor is the backside of the wheel correct color(ought it not be black?) mikeComment

I would agree with you on the tire, but the wheel appears to be welded wheel and not riveted. Also, unless I am mistaken, all wheels were painted black on the backside regardless what color they were painted on the front, and I do not believe that the factory tires had such stickers on the tread, but once again, I could be mistaken. It would appear that the story about this being pulled from the trunk of a 59 when it was new is, shall we say, an enhanced story!
