Re: Non corvette wheels

As far as caliper fitment goes, I don't think that they'll be any problem. The 1970 Z-28 wheels have the same, basic specifications as the 1969 Z-28 wheels. These wheels worked just fine for 1969 Camaros equipped with the JL-8 4 wheel disc system. Basically, this system used the same components as the 65-82 Corvette system.
While the calipers and rotors should fit ok, the real problem may lie with wheel well interference. There is over a 1/2" difference in offset between the 1965 Corvette wheels and the 1970 Camaro Z-28 wheels. Depending on the tires used, that could present a problem. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: Non corvette wheels
Kirby,
I believe the Camaro wheel is a 15x7 with a deeper offset, that is, the wheel sets farther in. They should clear the calipers with no problem. There should be no interference problems on the fender, there may be interference inside depending on what tires are used. The tires may rub in the front on hard turns.
