Gentlemen, While replacing my pannel light fuse for a Terry Mcmanmon test I came across my colored fuse collection. It states in a little piece of paper in the pack that the fuses are for 1965-1976 (All GM, I presume) the colors are as follows; Red-10amp ; white-25amp ; blue-15amp ; pink-4amp ; purple-3amp ; clear-28amp.

Re: Revisit; Colored fuses..check again Bob
Ford also used color coded barrel fuses until they switched over to spade terminal fuses in the late 70's. There are ample supplies in almost any junkyard if you won't choke putting a Pinto fuse in your Corvette! I have fuses with the internal color band, AND COLOR CODED WRITTEN AMP DESIGNATION. I looked at my collection of Ford product colored fuses, and verified the following: white-25amp; clear-20 amp; blue-15amp; pink 4amp. The 20amp fuse also came color coded YELLOW. I have an assortment of other sizes, but they may not be of interest for Corvettes.
