Would someone please explain to me "Why" this Board has a category named "Coming Events" when there is NO information available at that spot. The Western Regional is NEXT MONTH and the total amount of information available at this site are the dates that it will be held.

The calendar on the page and any subsequent pages for any month is for the local chapters to post their upcoming events. When the board was first started all the local chapters were notified in writing and advised to assign one member to post their judging schools, social events, local chapter meets etc. Apparently it must have got lost in the shuffle as it appears not too many chapters post their events. -

Not only that, but I've heard that studies indicate that written notices sent in the mail are much more timely and appreciated by the members. Electronic means of distribution are really in demand.

Yes, this is probably my bad. As the Az Chapter website editor, I guess I was supposed to put the Regional on the main calendar. I've added a new event with a pointer to our event calendar, where you can download the reg form and the event schedule.
Unfortunately, I didn't put the entry on the calendar originally, so I can't edit or delete it. Consequently, there are now two entries for the Regional. Sorry about that.
