What does the number stamped into the tab at the 10 o'clock position of midyear power brake boosters indicate? I have one with 4311 stamped into it and it was supposedly removed from a 1964 J-56 HD brake car some 20 years ago. Anyone familiar with these numbers stamped on the boosters? Thanks in advance for your help. Rex NCRS #8089

Re: PB Booster
Rex,
As Peter mentioned, the four digit "tab number" is usually the last four of the entire seven digit part number, but not always. (for 67, this was not the case) For the 64 model year, and all 65's with drum brakes, the tab number is 4311. For 65 with disc brakes, and all 66, the number would be 7011.- Top
