Re: 1967 435 h.p. performance numbers
Tom, we were racing these cars when they were new at Sacramento Raceway. The B/B tri-power 67 times in street w/411s was usaully around high 13's but the B/B with a single four (780) could get into the mid-13s in street form. These times were hard to get unless you had the gear and didn't smoke the tires. Biggest problem was getting off the line and weather conditions.Colder climate better times. But in over all average your post is pretty much what we could get on a good run.Our key on good times in stock form was to short shift 1st once we got going and found our times to be more consistant. I presently own a 67 B/B coupe L-71. Wish we had some of the tires they offer today back then on those cars. Plus the tracks are better now. Thanks for the memories. GRR#33570- Top
