Re: 57 512 ignition switch
Greg,
I will try to help you with the '57 ignition switch wiring:
Starting from the LH side as viewed from the back (installed position)there are 3 vertical spades which are mated with a triple connector with 3 single wires (one for each connector). The top wire is purple, the center is brown and the bottom wire is green. The outermost spade is marked "IGN 1" and the lower spade is marked "IGN 2".
The next center vertical spade is marked "ACC" and is mated with a single connecter with 2 pink wires.
The RH top double horizontal spades are marked "SOL" and are mated with a single connector on the top spade with a single pink wire.
The RH lower double vertical spades are marked "BAT" and are mated with a single connector on the innermost spade with a single black wire.
I am not clear as to the blue wire that you are looking to find a home for. Where is it located, i.e. in relation to which switch/instrument?
Hope this helps.
