    clock in 62 vette loose

    Hi all.

When I installed my clock in my 62 vette I set it in the opening and turned it to tighten it in place but it is still alittle loose.Am I missing something here to make it tight?

    Thanks for your help...........John

Sounds like you're missing the spring ring behind the clock that creates the tension to keep it tight. It's a light piece of spring steel, OD slightly less than the opening of the bezel, ID slightly larger than the OD of the clock.
