C2 66 original radiator hoses

What was the look of original upper and lower radiator hoses, I see both white stripe and blue stripe?

should have GM 3887154 /3887155 printed with strip the entire length?

for early 66 L79 roadster

There was probably more than one factory original qualified supplier for rad hoses. The variations in hose labeling and surface texture would have been the result of supplier source as well as time of manufacturer. What would have originally been in inventory and installed on this/that car becomes a 'forensic' science issue.

Today, different reproduction houses supply slightly different versions of what they think is a 'correct' hose and you'll see these differences in ink color, specific marking pattern, Etc. Your best bet in trying to determine which version will judge best is to read the description of the hose in your copy of the JG book and get the opinion of SEVERAL senior judges (expect to find differences of opinion here too) before you settle on which version of hose you're going to use....
