    CE Block and IP block Judging and value, ect;

    Thank you for your help. I need to get rid of stuff for an upcomming move.
    I just cleaned out my back garage and uncovered a few 427 blocks both with original decks and numbers and other stuff that has been there for about 27 years. One is a 942 IP block and one is a 321 block. The 321 block is a CE bock with the following pad nuimbers; CE 852207. As this is a replacement block, what are the numbers, how would this block be judged in an early 67 big block car, and how would the block affect the value of the car if the car originally should have had a 351 block?
    How rare is a 942 IP block with the original pad numbers? The pad seams original with the numbers TO 214 IP 6115296.
    Could some one id the following :an aluminum intake GM 3794129, a Holley 3559-164 GE 1 List 4346 054, Holley 331 3876261-3310 864, A box of GM big block pistons GM 3888304?
    And lastly, a munci stamped 7H153754 with one ring on the imput shaft and studs on the shifter forks. Does anyone know what this came out of?

    Thank you very much for your help. I am greatful
    Jon

      Jon -

      The 321 block wouldn't judge well at all in an early '67 - the 321 only showed up in the last 100 or so cars.

      The VIN derivative on the Muncie says it was originally in a '67 Buick built at Flint (an "A"-body).

        Clem and John. Thank you for your help. What happens to cars that had the engine replaced under warrentee? It would likely have a latter casting and a CE number. Does anyone know what the nuimbers after the CE are? The numbers are 852207.

        Thank you again

          Jon -

          The 321 CE block would most likely get a full deduction (350 points), as it's not the correct casting number for the car.

          The CE852207 says it's the 2,207th "CE" block made at Tonawanda during the 1968 calendar year (Tonawanda was allocated the block of "CE" sequence numbers from 50,000 thru 79,999).
