vin nos

Please help.....
I have a 1967 427-400hp...no air
I'm trying to decipher the nos on the back of the engine close to the bell housing.
On the driver side the nos are "3904351"
on the passanger side it reads" HI PERF"
What do thse nos mean, please help.

That's the block casting number, which is correct for your car.
