    C2: Is this play normal for a fanclutch?

    Please play the movie at the URL. Is this a normal play for a COLD fanclutch? Is it safe to drive the car with this fanclutch?

          dont think this is normal i have just checked my fan clutch but there is no play at all

              Hans-----

              While a small amount of play is normal in fan clutches, this one has WAY TOO MUCH. I'd remove and replace it immediately.

                          Somethings fixing to come apart, I wouldn't be running it. If that fan gets loose it will wipe out the radiator and shroud for sure. As we've learned lately, the chances of getting a new repro from Dewitt will be slim.
