C2 Parking Lights - Trim Parts

I have looked high and low and cannot get an definite answer. So here it is again. First, will the Trim Parts GM Restoration Parking Lights pass NCRS Judging? Second can somebody PLEASE tell me the difference? How much deduction will you get hit for the Trim Part Parking Lights.

I notices that Lectric Limited sells the 63 Parking Light Harness exact as factory. I keep on hearing about this "Boot" that covers the wires, and I talked to the guy at Lectric, and he tells me even the originals were covered with a shrink rubber tubing, NOT A BOOT. They sell the wire and tubing as a unit, refer to VPL6366. Am I missing something here, can somebody please explain to me how I can make the Trim Parts Parking Lights meet NCRS judging standards????

My understanding is the shrink tubing on the wires is NOT heat sealed in the same manner as the original at the plug end. The heated indentations are more "pronounced" on an original. The end of the tubing is also different where it was cut... possibly because the thickness of the tubing is different.

Here is a photo of an original.

If you can make the tubing look like this then you should be ok. The lense should be ok as is the housing.

Thanks Steve..my Trim parts looks so close to me...I only think one of the wires is a different color...the crimp on the insulation looks the same. I would like to hear from somebody who purchased a Trim Part to compare and see what they say to your posted photo....again thanks...Collin
