Hi all, I have lost my judging manual on a plane so I need so guidance. I want to know if there is a rule that says I can't ask for performance verification and a flight judging at the same regional event, if I have a top flight from a chapter meet already. Than part 2... I want to know if there is any ruling that says I can't get flight judging and a bow-tie at the nationals 3 months later, if I am nominated at that the previous regional event. I don't find anything in writing that states differently. If there is any written rule that says I can't do this will you please share it with me. Thanks, Rick

Re: Judging at regional and nationals
Rick,
Your judging manual will not answer those questions. The Judging Reference Manual has the answers. That book is worth having.
1) Yes, there is a rule against Flight Judging and Performance Verification of a Corvette at the same Regional meet.
2) You can go for the final Duntov/McLellan judging (which is flight judging) and Bow Tie judging at the same National Convention, however if your goal is strictly Flight Judging (not final Duntov judging) you will have to chose either Bow Tie or Flight Judging. We allow the final Duntov/McLellan and Bow Tie double up because we wish to avoid the potential alteration of the car to achieve one award and then the other. Doing both at the same convention reduces that temptation.Terry- Top
