Clem..My 57 Nassau/Daytona car introduced fuel injection at the Dec.1956 Nassau Governors Trophy Race..and that prototype unit is still in the car!

It too will have a 50th anniversary in Dec of the this year..and was featured in Corvette News Vol.1 #1 in 1957..

What a treasure of History...for GM to take advantage of.

we race a FI 150 sedan on the beach at daytona february of 1957 in the NASCAR race. it also was a very early FI as we got the car in december. we had to remove the FI for the next race as NASCAR outlawed chevys FI and fords supercharger. i have no idea where the FI unit went
