Re: whitewall tires by firestone for 73
Tom,
I inquired about this some time ago. The response I received from a fellow member who owns a Top Flighted '73 was 3/8". I never looked into Firestone tires, but in the Goodyear line (225/70R/15), the narrowest whitewall I was able to find was 5/8" on a Goodyear Integrity tire.

Re: whitewall tires by firestone for 73
Tom,
I have a set of Firestone 3/8" white stripe bias ply from Coker for my '72 along with a set of 3/8" white stripe Firestone radials from Diamondback.
Big difference in ride and handling with the radials as anyone will tell you.'72 Top Flight Coupe- Top

Al: Thanks for the response. I would be interested in the radials as 73 had radials. However I am not familiar with Diamondback. Does Diamondback have advertisments in car magazines? I havent seen Diamondback listed in The Driveline. Hope to hear from you again thanks! Tom- Top

I have some pics of my tires that I'll try to post later.
If not, I'll e-mail them to you.
In the meantime, here's a link.
