    '72 & '75 Headlight Assy Swappable?

    Hello,

I have a set of headlight assemblies off a '75 I am in the midst of rebuilding for use in my '72. I suddenly noticed in the catalogs that the SUPPORTS are listed differently for 68-74 vs. 75-82. I am concerned whether the '75 unit will drop into a '72. I do not yet have a front clip for my '72 to check...

Here's hoping someone knows! I am curious how the supports are different for the two sets of years, and whether it is a fitment issue.

    Much appreciated,
    Patricia Brown

P.S. Does anyone have a used headlight housing/door that is solid (no cracks) they wish to sell? Doc Rebuild and Paragon want $250 for a new one, and I'd like to find a more reasonable alternative.

When they wend to the bumper style of the 75 where the center goes back into the body, they changed the supports. Other parts will work, the support is different.

Thank you, Wayne. I was afraid of that!
