Frame Repair Deductions

Don't have judging sheets and the JG just states to check frame for repairs. If a car has a professionally repaired frame that would only be deductable by a very experienced eye, and the frame is in fact as strong as the day it was new (if not stronger), and is detailed correctly, what would be a typical point deduction for something like a repaired kick-up and/or end-cap?

If properly done, it is essentially undetctable. (Replacement of damaged sections in entirety)

Undetectable is the big issue. One car is not restored, another is restored very well, state of the art. Which one is truly undetectable and by who's standard? Undetectable is not the final answer.JMHO

The "Frame and Numbers" only carries 15 originality points total, so a detectable repair (configuration axis) wouldn't be more than three points; hardly a major issue in the grand scheme of things.
